Getting Started with SearchBlox REST-API

  1. Download and install the SearchBlox.
  2. Start SearchBlox
  3. Go to http://yourhost/searchblox/sde/index.jsp in your browser. The SearchBlox Development Environment is now visible in the browser.
  4. Click on the "Load Sample Request" link. The sample request XML is now displayed in the text area.
    Note: If you are using the SearchBlox ENTERPRISE Edition, replace the license ID in the sample XML with the license ID in you license.xml file.
  5. Click on "Index Document" link.
  6. A confirmation dialog box is displayed. Click OK.
  7. A dialog box containing the status of the index operation is displayed. Click OK.
  8. Go to http://yourhost/searchblox/sde/search.jsp to start searching.
