SearchBlox Content Search Software V3.3 released
New release upgrades to latest version of Lucene Search API
RICHMOND, Va., Sept 2. -- SearchBlox Software, Inc. has released V3.3 of SearchBlox Content Search Software. This version uses the latest version of the Lucene Search API and also includes several enhancements to the SearchBlox product.
Main changes in SearchBlox V3.3 are :
- Upgrade to Lucene 2.0: Lucene, the underlying search technology for SearchBlox, has made significant improvements in features and performance since its last major release. By upgrading to the latest version of Lucene, SearchBlox leverages the performance improvements of Lucene and enhances its search technology to deliver exciting new features in the future.
- Automatic Accent Removal: SearchBlox can now find words with accented characters even if the search user enters the search query without the accented characters. This feature is available for all Latin-1 languages including Spanish, French, German and Italian and serves to significantly improve search usability.
- License Key Upload: The SearchBlox license key can now be uploaded using the SearchBlox Admin Console without restarting the application.
