SearchBlox J2EE Search Expands Language Support in Version 2.2

RICHMOND, Va., April 14 -- Searchblox Software, Inc., today announced the release of SearchBlox Content Search Server V2.2 with support for indexing and searching of content in 30 languages. The SearchBlox Content Search Software delivers out-of-the-box search functionality for corporate websites, intranets and portals. SearchBlox's flexibility and ease of customization enables companies to implement search functionality that seamlessly integrates with the core website. SearchBlox is extremely fast and highly scalable for corporate applications.

The main features of SearchBlox are:

  • Support for indexing content in 12 new languages. The new languages supported are Arabic, Czech, Estonian, Hebrew, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Thai and Turkish.
  • Support for indexing using Proxy Servers
  • Disable stemming for individual collections
The SearchBlox free Edition is available free of charge and can index documents. The SearchBlox Content Search Server is also available Platform and as a J2EE Component. The software can be downloaded from http://www.searchblox.com.
