New Edition aims to accelerate Enterprise Adoption of Lucene with Simplified Pricing
Richmond, Virginia, Aug 17, 2009 - SearchBlox Software, Inc. today announced the "UNLIMITED" Edition of SearchBlox Content Search Software which allows indexing of unlimited number of documents and provides for unlimited number of development and deployment licenses for the licencee. The new UNLIMITED Edition is aimed at accelerating the pace of Lucene adoption in the Enterprise.
SearchBlox has pioneered the use of Lucene since 2003 and has continually innovated bringing the best of enterprise search features to its customers. The existing document-based pricing model helped organizations deploy cost-effective departmental search solutions. The SearchBlox UNLIMITED Edition addresses this issue by offering unlimited development and deployment licences to the licensees for a fixed annual subscription. In addition, these licenses do not have any restrictions on the number of documents that can be indexed. The annual fee also covers product support and upgrades to the latest versions of the software during the subscription period. The annual subscription for SearchBlox UNLIMITED Edition is USD 25,000.
