SearchBlox is happy to announce the release of version 9.0. The new release has switched to using Java 11 as a standard. Also, SearchBlox now uses Open Distro Elasticsearch to provide a 100% Apache 2.0 licensed Elasticsearch and Kibana distribution that is supported by Amazon Web Services and other corporate organizations. The built-in security, SQL support and alerting features offer a range of use cases for customers using SearchBlox.
When customers are planning to add search to their website, application or solution, the most commonly discussed option is to use Elasticsearch. Customers are faced with the option of building on their own using internal/external IT teams or purchasing a product/service which can enable enterprise search for their organization.
